Pet Angels Program

Pet Angels is a beautiful symbiosis between education and senior pet rescue. Through this relationship our fosters are able to trade personal time, a small amount of home space and a place in their hearts for first hand knowledge about pet care, pet disease processes, and the vital skills needed for success in the pet care field.

Any of our adoptable pets will be pet angels members for life. Once you adopt an adoptable pet from The Indigo Phoenix Foundation your pet will be a member for life. You will have access to our Pet Angels Community and all the support we can provide. Please note that we have a special focus on senior pets and availability is limited on number of fosters available.

No animal should have to be housed in a shelter, but especially if they are a senior pet. To be stuck in a cold cage with the stressful noise, unknown smells, and to experience the lonely unpredictability of each day. The waiting and hoping to be simply be rescued, to be free. We believe that once an animal is saved, they should never have to experience that again, which is one reason why we created this program.

Every one of our adoptables will be a pet angels program member for life. What does this mean? Well, simply that we plan on being in touch and available in some form for the life of your adoptable.
